What painting means to me
Devotion and
seeing daily wonders
When we fly, we see the world from a different perspective.
The colors and shapes change, the beauty seems boundless.
It is the same when we are very close to the ground
or dive layers deeper - completely immersed in our environment.
How often has painting given me lightness in difficult times?
And how often in times of joy has it given me a secure foundation?
In painting I find my devotion to the pure moment.
It is this feeling that everything is right in this moment
- a sense of well-being - an arrival -
and a constant reminder of gratitude.
Expressing sensations of magic, wonder and magnificence
that flow through beauty expands my heart.
Each painting is a painted “YES” to life,
the joy of being here with what surrounds me.
The canvas, my little inner paradise:
A place where I am completely myself.
A place where I lose myself, give myself and set more
emphasis on feeling than on thinking.
. Life is full of wonders and the paintings reflect a part of them.
For me, making them visible means sharing beauty, directing my heart and mind to the treasures and immersing myself in the pleasure of being part of this world.
No matter what, there is always contact with beauty,
it is the view of it that shapes the attitude to life - thus also art.
Creating is my connection between
heaven and earth
and an artwork that becomes.
In other words:
Painting is poetry with a brush.
Every brushstroke a word,
all colors a poem.
There is no need for translation.
In painting, it is the heart that speaks.
