Insights and how it all began

It all started at the age of 4 when I was in awe of a small matchbox with a beautiful sunset printed on the front. That's exactly what I wanted to paint! So I tried it and from then on I never stopped capturing and expressing the beauty of nature.

I wanted to become a painter!
With my paints always in a little raffia bag, nothing stood in my way...

​No matter what happened, art and a passion for nature were something that gave me security,refuge and strength.

It was the greatest constant in my life,even though it was constantly changing in form and kind.

In the course of my life there have been one or the other stray paths in the professional world, but in the end we always come back to ourselves and so, in addition to making music, writing and taking photographs, I am picking up brushes and oil paint again and doing what I am ultimately meant to do: paint.

Always in the middle of it all: two children, a dog, a cat, rabbits and the crazy, chaotic, lively everyday life that I love so much!

​It's the joy of family and art, which takes place in a small, cozy old house with a wild garden between Cologne and Bonn.
